At Viterbo University, we take our mission of preparing students for faithful service and ethical leadership to heart.  It is our goal to support students through every step in their journey to graduation and their new career.  Below you will find information on several services we offer to make sure we do everything we can to assist and prepare our students.

Academic Resource Center

The Academic Resource Center (ARCoffers services that encourage student success. Services include tutoring, writing assistance, reading retention and comprehension, academic counseling, academic skills workshops, and academic advising for students in the Student Support Services (TRiO) program. Staff includes seven professionals and approximately 100 peer tutors who are recommended by faculty. Additional information is found at the ARC website.

Advising

Students are assigned to two advisors during their time at Viterbo—an academic advisor and a faculty advisor to help them navigate college life. To find answers to questions about majors and minors, course scheduling, and a road map to graduation, start at the Advising and Career Development website.

Bookstore

Career Development

Parents often have questions about the career development process and the services provided by Viterbo University’s Advising and Career Development. Encourage your student to use the free services offered by the office—career counseling, internships, resume development, mock interviews, career fairs, and special events for networking and skill development.

Accessibility Services

Students requesting accommodations are requested to submit documentation to the coordinator of accessibility services. We will work with you to provide what you need to be successful. Accommodations are based on appropriate documentation. Student Support Services (TRIO)

Student Support Services (SSS) program (TRIO) is an academic support program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. SSS offers additional academic assistance and support to students who are first generation and/or low income. The SSS goal is to increase graduation and retention of first generation students. Students complete an online SSS form to indicate interest. Additional information is found at Student Support Services.

Study Abroad

Learning doesn’t only happen in the classroom. Viterbo's Study Abroad office offers students and faculty opportunities to explore the world, make new friends, and have the experience of a lifetime. These experiences help participants understand the world better and prepare for leadership by being well prepared for challenges in the world.
