Programs and Admission Requirements Information
First-Year
Successful applicants submit high school records with 16 units minimum: four English, three math (algebra required for nursing/dietetics, calculus recommended for engineering), three natural science (chemistry required for nursing/dietetics/social work/health programs), three social science or history, and three electives from college prep areas, foreign language, fine arts, computer science, or other academic subjects.
Graduate
Practical, flexible, and affordable The graduate programs of Viterbo University were created specifically for the working professional. Some programs offer face-to-face evening and weekend coursework, others are blended online with classroom learning on-campus or at an approved Viterbo location, and some programs are fully or predominately online with small campus residency components. Regardless of the format, the graduate programs of Viterbo strive to offer you the connections and interactions you are seeking in a graduate program.
Transfer
Documents must be sent directly from your high school, testing organization, or collegiate institution to Viterbo University Admissions Office. Electronic copies are also accepted. High school transcripts or post-secondary transcripts will not be considered official if received from the student.
Bachelor Completion
We offer rolling admission for classes beginning in August, January, and May. We’ll walk you through the application, discuss credit transfers and costs, and outline the courses required to complete your program. International

Non-Degree Seeking
Some students take classes because they want to enhance their professional skills or complete credits in preparation for applying to a graduate program. These students are considered “non-degree seeking” because they aren’t in a formal degree program.
