Financial Aid

The 2026-27 FAFSA is now available! You can complete that now, and you may still complete the 2025-26 FAFSA if you have not already done so.  

Federal and state grants, federal work-study, Federal Direct loans, and scholarships help make college or career school affordable. Use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply to gain access to all types of aid, including federal aid from the Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended.

Graduate Students

You are a graduate student if you are pursuing a graduate (doctoral or master's) degree, certificate, or license in one of Viterbo’s eligible graduate programs.   

Once you have submitted your application for admission we strongly encourage you to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and list Viterbo to receive your information (003911).  Candidates starting in the fall 2024, spring  2025 semesters, and summer 2025 should file the 2024-2025 FAFSA, available now.  In addition, all candidates starting in the 2025-2026 academic year should file the 2025-2026 FAFSA.

Graduate tuition and fees vary by program. Please visit the Graduate Cost & Aid page for current actual tuition and fees for your program.   Tuition and fees are for an academic year (fall, spring, and summer) and will increase annually each fall.

Bachelor Completion Students

Post-Baccalaureate Teacher License Students

This Financial Aid information is for candidates with a bachelor's degree who are pursuing an initial teacher licensure in the Viterbo Univesity Post-Bacc Teacher Licensure program (post-baccalaureate initial teacher license). If you are applying for the FAFSA to help pay your costs for this program, please note, this program is considered an undergraduate program for FAFSA purposes and you are only eligible for any undergraduate federal direct subsidized and/or unsubsidized loans you may have remaining of your cumulative eligibility. You can view your total loan balance in your Federal Student Aid account at studentaid.gov
