Viterbo University's Office of the Registrar supports the instructional mission of the institution by serving students, faculty, and alumni. The Office of the Registrar maintains accurate historical records (both student and institutional), facilitates the registration process from the creation of class schedules to the collection and distribution of grades, ensures student satisfaction of graduation requirements, and upholds and implements academic standards and policies.

Registrar functions include:

  • Collection, preparation, and distribution of a course schedule, including scheduling of classrooms.
  • Implements the registration process for current Viterbo University students and for incoming students.
  • Evaluates credits to be accepted by Viterbo University for transfer students from other institutions.
  • Maintains accurate, confidential student records including enrollment verification, and processes transcript requests.
  • Provides data for internal and external reporting.
  • Ensures graduation requirements are met, posts degree completion on official record, and orders/mails diplomas.
  • Coordinates with Instructional and information technology staff the academic records and registration portions of the online student information system (VitNet/Self Service Student Planning).
  • Coordinates production and revision of the university catalog.
  • Maintains and upholds Viterbo's academic standards and policies.
  • Certification of all student athletes using NAIA standards and policy.

Office hours are 8 a.m.– 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday (remote some Fridays).
