The Graduate Programs at Viterbo University are designed with you, and your busy life, in mind enrolling students year-round in the fall (August), spring (January), and summer (May) semesters. Some programs offer only one or two traditional starts but will accept students in some instances in off terms, if you are interested in starting sooner simply ask your admissions representative for more information!

Several graduate programs require an interview as part of the admissions process. Candidates are reviewed for an interview by the program admissions committee once a file becomes complete. Invitations to interview are by invitation only.
Nursing | Doctor of Nursing Practice
Once your application file is complete your materials are presented to the admissions committee for initial review for an invitation to interview. Applicants to the summer cohorts of Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), Acute Care Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, and all BSN entry paths are encouraged to complete the application file in the fall by the Priority Application Deadline.
Interview days for DNP candidates will be held on Wednesdays. Invitations to interview are extended by the program via email to selected candidates. As an applicant's file becomes complete candidates are invited to the next interview date.
Counseling Programs
The master's and doctoral programs in Counseling and Supervision require an interview as part of the admissions process. Interviews are individual and 90 minutes in length. Once your application file is complete the admissions committee reviews your materials. Interviews are by invitation only.
MS in Mental Health Counseling
- Interviews will be held during the week and times of the day vary. All interviews are 90 minutes in length and will be conducted virtually via Zoom until further notice. Candidates are required to have a camera on for the interview.
MS in School Counseling

Dietetics
The MS in Community Medical Dietetics program will require an interview as part of the admissions process. Interviews will be one hour in length, conducted virtually requiring the candidate to have a camera and microphone.
