Program Highlights for the MA in Servant Leadership
Earning your MA in Servant Leadership from Viterbo offers you several advantages, including:
- Earn your master’s degree in just two years of part-time study. The program is offered through a cohort model that includes weekend sessions (weekend intensives) in eight-week courses. Some coursework can be completed online for additional convenience. Our program allows you to continue working full-time while earning your master’s degree.
- Obtain your degree through our Summer Institute option. Viterbo’s optional Summer Institute features a blend of online work and a two-week block of intensive study on campus, enabling you to earn the 30 credits required for the degree. You will complete some coursework online before arriving, and housing is available during the two-week session.
- Network with program alumni and career professionals. Our MA in Servant Leadership program allows you to network with alumni and develop real-world servant leader skills by volunteering, tutoring, or taking advantage of other service-learning opportunities.
- Learn from experienced leadership faculty. Your courses will be taught by passionate faculty members with servant leader skills and experience in providing servant leadership training. Students collaborate with faculty on community action research and other areas of scholarship. Our faculty members act as mentors, offering professional leadership insights and career guidance.

Graduates of our MA in Servant Leadership program are leaders at Mayo Clinic Health System, Gundersen Health System, and several other organizations in the region and across the country. Among our program graduates, 95% report receiving a promotion or a new job after earning their degree.
