October/November
Although the
FAFSA will not open until December, students and their FAFSA contributors can create
StudentAid.gov accounts. This is an important step to prepare for the opening of the FAFSA.
Wisconsin applicants can review the
Viterbo Tuition Promise program. Students from low to moderate income households that are Wisconsin residents and plan to live on campus may have the rest of their tuition, after other scholarships and grants, covered by Viterbo University! The FAFSA is required to help determine eligibility.
Students wanting to get to the front of the line for their 2025-26 housing selection should submit their tuition and housing
deposits after being admitted. Starting in December, invitations will be sent out for students to engage with our roommate matching and housing systems.
Bring your students for a group visit! Contact Lini Wynos ecwynos@viterbo.edu to schedule.
December
FAFSA filing begins for 2025-2026 school year (using 2023 tax data).
Feel free to have your students join our Community FAFSA Filing Night on Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 6-7:30 p.m. (come and go as you please) in Reinhart Center, room 134. Financial aid and admissions staff will be on hand to help students and families get through the FAFSA form. We recommend having created FSA IDs (aka studentaid.gov accounts) a few days prior to attending.
With early January deadlines for some scholarships, we encourage students to finalize their specific scholarship applications in December, well before the winter holidays. Some scholarships require letters of recommendation, which they will not want to request last minute.
