About Religious Studies and Theology
Investigate the nature of God while evaluating the integration of Catholic Social Teaching with other social justice initiatives to promote human dignity, solidarity and the common good.
Our program explores social justice, morality, and spirituality in a pluralistic world while building critical thinking, theological reflection, and writing skills. You will study theology, scripture, ritual, and moral reasoning with an interdisciplinary approach under the guidance of Viterbo faculty, with an emphasis on Franciscan and Catholic intellectual traditions. Our program outcomes prepare you for a variety of career paths and often complement other areas of study.
