Weekends at VU (WAVU)

Weekends at VU offers free programming for Viterbo students on Fridays and Saturdays during the academic year. Programing can include activities such as: Grocery BINGO, crafts, off-campus excursions, and much more! Have an idea for a fun event we should try hosting? Let us know! We are always brainstorming new events and activities to try out!

Live Band Karaoke

Friday, October 3  |  7-9 p.m.  |  Recital Hall

Be the lead singer of your own rock band with Live Band Karaoke! If you are in town early for Family Day, join us on Friday night for our first-ever Live Band Karaoke competition! Join us for some fun in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall, starting at 7 p.m. It is sure to be a great time!

Family Day at Viterbo!

Saturday, October 4  |  1:30 - 3:30 p.m.  |  Off-Campus
  • Hidden Trails Corn Maze in West Salem: Students will need to bring their Viterbo ID for free entry for themselves and their family. Arrive anytime between 1:30-3:30 p.m. No registration required.
Saturday, October 4  |  5:30 - 8:30 p.m.  |  Viterbo Library

  • Viterbo Mini Golf Invitational: Join us in the Todd Wehr Memorial Library for a lively round of mini golf, food, and prizes! Students can play solo, with family/guests, or start a new tradition with their roommates. Stop by the library between 5:30-8:30 p.m. to join in on the fun! No registration required.

WAVU Collaborations & Support!

Weekends at VU encourages Offices, Departments, and  Student Organizations to reach out about partnership opportunities. We are always looking to collaborate and support wherever we can! 

Have an event in mind, but need advice from one of our Event Coordinators--reach out! Do you have ideas for new events and/or activities, or simply a suggestion on how we can improve existing programing--please, share your thoughts with us!
