The professional social work sequence of courses begins at the junior level. Students apply to the professional phase of the program by completing a formal application for admission. The application is to be submitted no later than Feb. 1 of the student's sophomore year for admission to the professional phase courses the following fall (junior year). It is the applicant's responsibility to assure a complete application by Feb.1. Only students changing their major or transferring to Viterbo after the Feb. 1 deadline may submit an application after that date. Professional phase courses are sequential and students can only begin these courses in the fall semester. Admission decision letters are emailed by March 1. Contact Janet Holter, program director, with any questions about the admission application process at 608-796-3724, jlholter@viterbo.edu, or Murphy Center 522.
