The Viterbo University Alumni Association presented the Distinguished Alumni Awards during Viterbo Days, Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015. The award is presented to alumni who display Viterbo’s mission of faithful service and ethical leadership in their everyday lives. These alumni embody Viterbo’s core values of contemplation, hospitality, integrity, stewardship, and service. Mary Jilek was honored with the Young Alumni Award.

The Diversity Committee is seeking donations of diversity-related items, such as books, movies, and other materials for the Inclusion and Diversity Center in Murphy Center room 576.
The School of Nursing will host Jean Watson Ph.D, RN, Monday, Oct. 19.
Watson developed the Theory of Human Caring and has presented her work internationally. She has been named a “Living Legend” by the American Academy of Nursing. She is spending the day with the School of Nursing to share her caring theory.

Nicki (Robinson) Skinner learned time-management skills very early as a Viterbo student. As an extremely busy three-sport athlete and business student, it was critical for success.
Viterbo will continue to increase the number of paid internship opportunities offered to students thanks to a $441,758 Career Ready Internship Grant from the Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation.
