Faculty Scholarship

Congratulations and thank you to the 30 faculty members who participated in the Celebration of Faculty Scholarship. The variety of scholarly works gave vivid testimony to the research culture at Viterbo and to the creative, curious, and collective talent of our faculty.

University Recognition Committee

The Recognition Committee has resumed its monthly meetings for the academic year. Communicate your suggestions and nominations to any member of the committee: Rick Artman, Matt Campbell, Diana Cataldi, Brandy Cleveland, Sonya Ganther, Chad Gilbeck, Melissa Growt, Chris Sanger, Sheila Severson, and Vickie Unferth.

Admission Updates

Special thanks to faculty, administrators, staff, and students who are contributing ideas and efforts to support recruitment of new students for spring and fall 2016. Applications from prospective freshmen as of Oct. 28 stand at 790. This compares to 461 from last year and 711 from two years prior (Oct. 28, 2013). We are benchmarking current progress against the prior two years because the fall 2014 actual enrollment of new students is very close to our new student goal for 2016. The number of accepted students and tuition deposits to date is slightly ahead of October 2013 figures. Kudos to all for the extra efforts underway; the hard work continues.
