Knowing and working with Earl Bridgewater has been one of my most profound professional experiences I can boast about.

I met Earl when I thought about asking if Viterbo would consider including me as an adjunct instructor. So I called, made an appointment for an interview, and my career with Viterbo began that fateful day. For the next 20 plus years, I considered Earl my boss.

I had been employed previously with multiple school districts and observed many styles of administration. Hands down, Earl by far surpassed any I had experienced. Earl was a class act. I'm in awe of a man who was so kind, compassionate, and served education as he did.

What an impact Earl made on me, and also all the many Viterbo graduates he came in contact with. His standard of excellence is one we should all respect and continue to strive to achieve.
