Available Pathways
Master of Science in Community Medical Dietetics - Initial RDN License Prep/Direct Entry
- For students that require the foundational coursework to become a registered dietitian and the dietetic coordinated internship necessary to become a registered dietitian.
- 63 credits
- 6–9 semester plans
Master of Science in Community Medical Dietetics - Dual Master’s with Dietetic Internship
- For students who have already graduated from an accredited didactic nutrition program with a DPD verification statement and want to further their nutritional knowledge and skills through the internship and graduate level coursework.
- 4 semester plan
- 48 credit non-thesis track OR 34 credit thesis track
Master of Science in Community Medical Dietetics - RDNs
For current RDNs who want to advance their expertise and scope of practice.
- 30 credits
- 6 semester plan
Dietetic Internship
- For students who already have a Master’s degree and need to obtain the 1000 hours of supervised practice for dietetic licensure
- 16 credits
