Michele Merten is the Director of Graduate Nursing Programs and an Assistant Professor at Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI.  She is also a nurse practitioner in the Division of Endocrinology, an Assistant Professor of Medicine, College of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She received her Master’s and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees through Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI.  Her primary clinical focus and interest include cancer survivorship care, papillary thyroid cancer, thyroid disease, and thyroid nodules.  She is a member of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties, American Thyroid Association, American Thyroid Association Women in Thyroidology, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and Association of Southeastern Minnesota Nurse Practitioners.
