THE PEKING ACROBATS TO PERFORM AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY FEB. 16

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The performers of The Peking Acrobats™ will bring their incredible show to the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre stage at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Viterbo students are invited to attend a scholarship information event from 4–5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27 in the School of Nursing Building room 195.

Topics to be covered include where to find scholarships, tips for applying, and things to avoid. The event is sponsored by Soar to Success.

The drawings and prints of guest artist Yoonmi Nam will be featured in an exhibit entitled “for later, for now” opening with a reception at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27 in the Viterbo University Gallery.

Matt Boshcka, co-owner of Dublin Square Pub and Eatery in downtown La Crosse, Burger Fusion Company in Valley View Mall, and Valley High Golf Club in Houston, Minn., will speak as part of the Leadership at Noon series Tuesday, Jan. 26 in the Reinhart Center Board Room.

Civil rights activist and author Sheyann Webb-Christburg presented “My Childhood Experiences with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.” as the keynote address at the La Crosse Community Annual Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Jan. 18 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

How to Help Someone in Distress

Everyone can feel stressed at times, but excessive stress can manifest in a number of ways that negatively impact a person’s life. You can make the difference by knowing what to look for and how to help.

Viterbo students will perform Crow and Weasel, a coming of age fable for the entire family Saturday, Jan. 30–Sunday, Jan. 31 and Friday, Feb. 5–Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts.
