Student Fellowships
The D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership invites Viterbo University students to apply for 9- or 12-month undergraduate and graduate fellowships beginning in January 2027. Three fellowships are available for the upcoming year.
Who is eligible to apply?
Full-time undergraduate students who will be sophomores, juniors, or seniors in fall 2026 and graduate students scheduled to graduate no earlier than January 2028.
Responsibilities
Fellows will participate in planning and implementing Institute events, including lecture series, conferences, workshops, and training sessions. Depending on their interests and qualifications, fellows may also provide regular assistance in a specific area of the Institute’s work, including programming, marketing, and communications. Fellows will also be expected to participate in Institute events as their schedules allow, typically no more than 5 hours per week.

- Gain valuable professional experience. Fellows develop hands-on experience in event planning, programming, communications, marketing, and leadership that can strengthen a resume and complement their academic experience.
- Build your professional network. Fellows serve as members of the Reinhart Institute Advisory Council, which meets quarterly, providing opportunities to meet and interact with local, regional, and national leaders in the fields of ethics and leadership.
- Get involved in a meaningful campus experience. The fellowship offers students a way to become actively involved in a university initiative while working alongside faculty, staff, students, and community leaders.
Receive financial support. The fellowship award is $2,000 per semester, for up to $6,000 over three semesters (summer, fall, and spring).
