Guatemala, Feb 14-23, 2025, Clinical Immersion

Thailand, May 18-June 2, 2025, VUSM 205, Living in a Diverse World 

Travel to multiple cities in northern Thailand; visit diverse temples, markets, factories, and much more. The course and travel will focus on Hmong history and culture in La Crosse and Thailand, focused on the 50th anniversary of the Hmong diaspora. This trip is an extension of a Spring course. Zamora, Spain (Nursing only), May 17-30, 2025, Nurs 413. Integrative Care for Public Health & Diverse Communities. 

Participate in community projects to eliminate loneliness among the elderly. Partner with nursing students from University of Salamanca, Zamora Spain. Zamora, Spain (Humanities), May 30 - June 27, 2025, SPAN 301/400 and Engl 252. Cultural Studies in a Spanish Speaking World. 

Designed to explore the social realities and cultures of this Spanish region through interaction with native speakers, exploration of historic sites, visiting cities and small towns like Madrid and Salamanca, while also experiencing museums, theatres, concerts, and local markets. Seville, Spain, May 13-28, 2025:  NUTR 443 or NUTR 543 

Study the components of the Mediterranean diet and how this diet is able to reduce the risk of chronic diseases. Study sports nutrition and how it can be applied to the Mediterranean diet. On campus lectures will occur one night each week during the 2nd half of the spring semester.
