Being a liberal studies major gave me the freedom and flexibility I craved as a college student with a wide scope of academic interests. By enrolling in this program, I was able to accommodate all of them: French, English, communications, theatre—and make them count.

The rhetoric and social teachings provided by the degree and the leadership of my professors not only strengthened my commitment to serve, but also provided me direction to recognize whom I needed to serve most.”

My degree met the requirements for Military Chaplaincy. While at Seminary, I was commissioned into the United States Air Force as a Second Lieutenant, Chaplain Candidate. I will reappoint this summer as a First Lieutenant and will carry the designation of Chaplain. My degree, which was earned at a Roman Catholic institution, supplied me with key theological points that I would use in discussion with my Roman Catholic Chaplain Candidate peers. Additionally, these key theological points opened doors to conversations with Roman Catholic soldiers/airmen/sailors and other lay members of the R.C. faith. I believe my future training and work as a Chaplain in the USAF will benefit from my undergraduate degree.”

I chose to be a mathematics teacher for several reasons, mainly though for my love of mathematics and for the chance to make a difference in the lives of future generations. I hope that my teaching style will instill the love of mathematics into others, while helping them progress into the extraordinary individuals they are meant to be. Being a part of this program brings me closer to that dream every day. The professors are amazing with their level of expertise and experience, as well as their understanding and flexibility with me being a student athlete. Because of Viterbo, I know I have chosen the right career path.”

I am so happy that I decided to attend Viterbo and I recommend the program to anybody I talk to that is considering BSN completion. Every instructor is extremely knowledgeable and fun to learn with. I had a great time and I am definitely going to apply to the DNP/MBA program because of the great instruction and fellowship that I have found at Viterbo.
