The acclaimed Artaria String Quartet will return to Viterbo University for the final three concerts in the Beethoven Quartet Cycle at 3 p.m. Sunday Jan. 16, Sunday, Feb. 20, and Sunday, March 20 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Nola Starling Recital Hall.

Dr. Sylvia Hood Washington, a highly accomplished environmental epidemiologist, clinician, and historian with over 30 years of research experience addressing the impact of industrial pollution on human health, will present the keynote address at the La Crosse Community Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Sara Cook, Viterbo University’s vice president for academics, has been part of the Viterbo community for over 20 years as a faculty member and administrator; her first day of teaching at Viterbo was on her first child’s first birthday in August 2001.
