Subject: Nursing Pinning Ceremony and Marking the Milestone
Magda Brown, a survivor of the infamous Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, will share her story at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 21 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
Kendal Schmitz graduated in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in community medical dietetics.
The Farmington, Minn., native said, “I’m interested in nutrition because I see how influential it can be in impacting our health. I want to be able to empower individuals to make better nutritional choices through the food they consume.”
Giving back to her Viterbo University is par for the course for Julia Callaghan '15, an alumni board member and assistant coach of the women's golf team.
The performance by Lula Washington Dance Theatre, which was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre, has been postponed due to the extremely cold weather.

The hilarious That Golden Girls Show! A Puppet Parody will open the Viterbo University 2019–20 NexStar season at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse introduced Danessa Brocks as their 2020 Youth of the Year on Feb. 5, with club Executive Director Jake Erickson and Viterbo University President Glena Temple looking on as Brocks signed her scholarship papers to attend Viterbo University.
