Get Your Ticket for the Employee Picnic

The fourth annual Viterbo employee picnic to celebrate the end of the academic year will be held from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. Friday, May 6 in Assisi Courtyard.

All employees are invited to enjoy a hotdog, hamburger, or veggie burger, salad, chips and a desert. Lawn games will also be available for employees.

Hear about the Dangers of Synthetic Marijuana at a Lunch and Learn Tomorrow

The Viterbo Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Task Force will hold a Lunch and Learn from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. in Reinhart Center 127.

Employees and students are invited to learn about synthetic marijuana and watch chemistry demonstrations courtesy of Viterbo’s chemistry department.

Maria Morgan-Bathke, nutrition and dietetics, who presented her research abstract entitled “Assessing the Role of Saturated Fats in Adipose Tissue Inflammation” at a conference in San Diego April 2–4.

Blood and Fire

Viterbo chemistry major Emma Akemann conducted an experiment on the affects of fire on blood evidence with the help of the La Crosse Fire Department and Viterbo faculty members Ward Jones, Tammy Clark, and Lee Bushong April 12.
