The Viterbo music department will present a spring choral concert, Sunday, May 1 at 3 p.m. in Maria Angelorum Chapel at St. Rose Convent. This will be the final performance for Jean Saladino, music, as she will be retiring from Viterbo after this semester.

The concert will be a potpourri from Renaissance to jazz performed by the Viterbo Concert Choir and 9th Street Singers. Senior music education major Chloe Gorman will conduct a piece with the Concert Choir. Freshman piano major Aubrie Jacobson will accompany the 9th Street Singers in two jazz arrangements. The Concert Choir will commemorate this year’s humanities symposium with a repeat performance of “The Wall,” a collaboration between Mary Ellen Haupert, music, and Beth Marzoni, English. Diana Cataldi, music, will join the choir with guest cellist Julie Sturm in a setting of The Water is Wide. Choral alumni will join the choir in a final piece.
