Viterbo to Present Riders to the Sea and The Impresario Sept. 24–25

The outstanding singers of the Viterbo music department will perform two one-act operas, Riders to the Sea and The Impresario, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.

Seven Rivers Research Symposium Set for Nov. 11; Registration Opens Next Week

This year’s Seven Rivers Undergraduate Research Symposium is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 11. Online registration for this event involving colleges and universities from the tri-state area will open Monday, Sept. 26 and will close Friday, Oct. 28.

An informational meeting regarding the tuition exchange/remission process will be held Thursday, Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. in the School of Nursing Building room 101.

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Glena Temple, Viterbo University vice president of academic affairs, has been named president of Viterbo University. She will succeed retiring Viterbo president Rick Artman Jan. 1.

PROCEDURES FOR STUDENT SUICIDE ATTEMPTS, GESTURES, INTENTIONS, PLANS, OR THREATS

INTRODUCTION:  Suicide is known to be a leading cause of death for college and university students. In addition, suicide attempts, gestures, intentions, plans, or threats may have a detrimental effect on the student and others.  These procedures are designed to help enhance the safety and well-being of students who may be at risk of suicide and other members of the campus community.
