She said her biggest takeaway from her time as an undergraduate business major at Viterbo is the value of servant leadership, and she returned to campus to earn a servant leadership certificate in 2021.

Through his internship with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), Viterbo’s approach to supporting incoming international students has been strengthened.
For Shannon McManimon, program director of Viterbo’s Ethical Leadership Doctorate in Education program, the concepts of transformation and education are inextricably linked. Part of McManimon’s vision for the EdD in ethical leadership program recognizes that there are challenges in the world and that leadership is important to help move through those challenges. She said her hope is that the program would help to teach students how to work toward the common good and how to be more fully human.
