VITERBO UNIVERSITY CONSERVATORY FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS TO PRESENT DANCE KALEIDOSCOPE 2025 APRIL 25–26

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Enjoy outstanding original works created and performed by Viterbo dance students as the university’s Conservatory for the Performing Arts presents Dance Kaleidoscope 2025 at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Movement, music, and exceptional technique will combine in a mesmerizing production filled with dynamic energy, creativity, and dedication as audiences take an unforgettable journey through the diverse world of dance.

“I think there is something for everyone in this show—from disco to modern to Barbie girls to storytelling pieces,” said Viterbo faculty member Shane Rhoades, the director of the production. “There is music from the 1970s to 2024. It will be just a wonderful, exciting evening of pure entertainment and joy.”

Dance Kaleidoscope 2025 is the final project and performance for students earning a dance minor. Creating the show has been a collaborative process between student dancers, choreographers, and designers with faculty mentorship, including costumes, sets, lighting, tech, and other design elements. More than 65 students are working on the production, and it reflects “the students’ tremendous interest, desire, and talent,” Rhoades said.

“Collaboration is the cornerstone to all creative endeavors, and it is beautiful to see these artists share their talents with each other for the purpose of enriching the lives of those to whom they present their work,” said Rhoades and fellow faculty member Jen Brown, design director. “We are proud to have shared the studio, stage, and shop with these thoughtful and talented individuals, and we are confident you will thoroughly enjoy their work.”

Tickets are $16 for main floor seating, plus taxes and fees. For more information or to order tickets, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or visit www.viterbo.edu/tickets.
