VITERBO UNIVERSITY FINE ARTS CENTER ANNOUNCES SUMMER SHOWS

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Fine Arts Center is announcing an exciting new addition to its acclaimed Bright Star Season.

The start of the 2025–26 Season will feature four summer performances, including a Broadway legend, a generation-defining musical group, a tribute to a musical legend, and an extraordinary 90s themed a cappella concert.

The four shows include three-time Tony recipient Bernadette Peters on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 7:30 p.m., The Righteous Brothers: Lovin’ Feelin’ Farewell Tour on Friday, Aug. 22 at 7:30 p.m., Killer Queen: A Tribute to Queen featuring Patrick Myers as Freddie Mercury on Friday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m. and the previously announced performance of Straight No Chaser Summer: The 90s Part 2 on Wednesday, July 30 at 7:30 p.m.

Bernadette Peters, critically acclaimed star of stage, film, television and recordings, will present a magical and inspiring evening of songs from the great music masters, such as Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, and other legends.

The Righteous Brothers will perform a soul-stirring, nostalgic concert with timeless hits that have defined a generation, including You've Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’ (from Top Gun), Unchained Melody (from Ghost), (I've Had) The Time of My Life (from Dirty Dancing), Soul and Inspiration, Ebb Tide, and Rock and Roll Heaven.

Killer Queen: A Tribute to Queen formed in 1993 and quickly gained popularity, performing at prestigious venues like London's Strand Theatre, and winning the Worldwide Best Tribute Band award in 1999. Ever since they have become a worldwide phenomenon, selling out iconic venues like Red Rocks Arena and Austin City Limits and continuing to perform sold-out shows across Europe and the U.S.

Straight No Chaser is composed of nine men whose voices come together to make extraordinary music that is deeply moving people with a sense of humor. They’ll bring audiences of all ages back to a simpler time, one unafraid of bright neons, loud prints, and cool boy bands. This show was originally announced in February and tickets are already on sale.

Tickets for Bernadette Peters, Killer Queen, and The Righteous Brothers go on sale Wednesday, March 12 at 10 a.m. at www.viterbo.edu/tickets and at 2 p.m. by phone or in-person at the box office.
