First-year Cost and Aid

Because of our commitment to affordability, most families pay significantly less than the full-time tuition rate. In fact, 98% of full-time students receive some type of financial aid, which is awarded based on academic merit, financial need, and in the forms of scholarships, grants, work-study, or federal loans. This leads to an average out-of-pocket cost of $15,010 compared to the 2023-24 overall sticker price of $43,030 (including room and board) for full-time undergraduate students.

Average Financial Aid Package*

Total direct cost (including tuition and fees, average housing, and food)        $43,030
Gift aid from federal, state, and/or university $19,000
Net Cost $24,030
Federal student loans $5,500
Work-study $3,520
Out-of-pocket cost $15,010

Actual net cost will vary depending upon multiple individual circumstances such as high school grades, ACT/SAT scores (optional), individual and family income, and scholarship eligibility.
