Rooted in Catholic, Franciscan Tradition

Founded by the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration (FSPA), Viterbo University has grown from a small teachers’ college into a thriving Catholic university guided by faith, service, and a deep respect for the dignity of every person.

Our Franciscan values—hospitality, integrity, stewardship, contemplation, and service—continue to shape every aspect of campus life. Here, students are invited to grow not only in knowledge, but also in purpose, compassion, and community. Discover how our Catholic identity inspires lives of meaning and impact.
