Viterbo's MBA in Computer Science program is 42 credits of coursework that equips students to lead change within business settings utilizing data analytics and software development. Graduates from this program will have the ability to lead sustainable change through technological innovations and implementation of management strategies needed in both the public and private sector.
Policy
Admissions Policy
To be admitted to the MBA in Computer Science Program, students must:
- Submit a 1–2-page personal statement indicating their interest in the specific program; how this degree would further their professional goals; demonstrate writing proficiency.
- Have at least an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Provide recommendations from at least two previous instructors and one professional recommendation.
- Students without a computer science undergraduate degree, or completed relevant coursework, will have to complete required prerequisites at Viterbo (i.e. Introductory programming course, discrete math, and statistics)
Transfer Credit Policy
- Up to 9 graduate credits taken within the last 10 years from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Final, official transcripts must be sent to the Admissions Office from the institution where the credit was earned.
