Celebrate Homecoming this Week

The Viterbo community is invited to join alumni in celebrating Homecoming Saturday, Feb. 21.

Several activities are being held in the week leading up to Saturday, including a community luncheon in Marian Hall Dining Room Friday, Feb. 20 from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. sponsored by campus activities and the alumni office.

Viterbo Days Coming Up

Amber Schultz and Nickolas Zwieg, students in Viterbo’s sport leadership program, promoted the Viterbo Days and Friar Frolic 5k Run/Walk at a vendor’s table at the Steppin’ Out in Pink event in La Crosse Sept. 6.

YMCA Offering $5 Art Classes

The La Crosse Area YMCA will offer $5 art classes for the community from Monday, Oct. 6–Sunday, Oct. 12. Classes include crocheting, jewelry making, paper cutting, and fall crafts.

The American Nurse Movie Sept. 12–13

The Viterbo community is invited to attend screenings of the movie The American Nurse: Healing America at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.


The event is sponsored by Viterbo and Gundersen Health System.

Tickets for Captain Phillips are $10 for Employees

Tickets for Captain Richard Phillips’ presentation “Steering Your Ship Through Rough Waters: Lessons on Leadership from Captain Phillips,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre are available to employees at the special rate of $10.

Viterbo Announces Parent Portal

Viterbo is excited to announce a new tool, a parent portal, which allows students to grant access to academic or financial information to parents, guardians, or other designees. Students grant access via VitNet and the parents/guardians receive their own login to VitNet and access to student information.

Viterbo employees are invited to enjoy a tailgate lunch to support the United Way kick-off Thursday, Oct. 2 from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. The hospitality committee is partnering with the United Way committee for an NFL themed day as they get ready for the Packer vs. Viking game that evening.
