New Faces and Trading Places in the Library
The library has had some changes in staff over the summer, and we’d like to introduce you to the people ready to help you.
The human condition and how Pope Francis, formerly Jorge Bergogliio, the archbishop of Buenos Aires sees it, will be the subject of an interpretive presentation by Msgr. Bernard McGarty and Fr. Conrad Targonski, Monday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
President Rick Artman will moderate the event.
Past Oktoberfest royalty paid a visit to Marian Hall Dining Room Sept. 24. Students and guests enjoyed a lunch of traditional German foods to celebrate the annual La Crosse festival held Sept. 25–28.
Viterbo will migrate its website from Ektron to Drupal in a move that is expected to provide significant benefits to the university as well as its on campus users and off campus visitors.
Viterbo graduate Sonja Larson has been awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship to study in Krakow, Poland, from October 2014–June 2015. Larson will study the music of the Holocaust with University of Warsaw Professor of Musicology Katarzyna Naliwajek-Mazurek.

Viterbo University will increase the number of paid internships offered to junior and senior students thanks to a $150,000 Career Ready Internship grant from Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation.
The 2014 Nursing Career Fair is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6 from noon-3:30 p.m. in the School of Nursing Building room 195 and lobby. Nurse recruiters from regional health care facilities will be on campus to share information about available internship and employment positions in their health care facilities.
