Jesús Jambrina, world languages and history, has been internationally recognized and honored for his research regarding the Sephardic Jews; these are Jews who lived in Spain and Portugal from Roman time to 1492 when they were expelled by the Monarchs and the Spanish Inquisition.
Vicki Unferth, residence life, and student Sarah Call show off the newly installed recycling bin which was placed in Clare Apartments. The bin, which is valued at $2,300 and was donated by Max-R Recycling, is comprised of 1,630 recycled milk jugs. Unferth and Call worked with the company to arrange the donation and during the process, designed the bin, selecting the style and colors.
The professional development committee invites all staff and administrators to join us on Tuesday, Dec. 2 as we learn about the message we send to others through brief and commonplace daily verbal indignities. These intentional and non-intentional indignities are micro-aggressions.

La Crosse Loggers baseball team Owner Dan Kapanke and General Manager Chris Goodell will speak as part of the Viterbo University Leadership at Noon series Tuesday, Nov. 18 in the Reinhart Center Board Room from noon-1 p.m.
On Thursday, nearly 400 were in attendance to hear Catholic Relief Services CEO and President Dr. Carolyn Woo discuss the work her agency is doing to alleviate worldwide suffering due to poverty, violence and the lack of adequate health care. Woo’s talk was sponsored by the D.B.
Viterbo University theatre and music theatre students will present Headshot!, an original theatre production created with award-winning theatre artists and Viterbo students, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14 and Saturday, Nov. 15 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16 in the Fine Arts Center LaCroix Black Box Theatre.
