Education background: Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in English/Secondary Education; Master of Arts from the University of Iowa in Instructional Design and Technology; Certification in PMP from the Project Management Institute

Previous employer and position/Past experience as related to current position: University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, LMS administrator and faculty consultant. I have been an educator and instructional designer for almost 20 years, much of that spent working for the small, local company AVS Group.

Why did you choose Viterbo as your next employer? Viterbo offered a position that aligns well with my career passion (instructional design) and desire to work in higher education. As I learned more about Viterbo and Viterbo values, I wanted to be a part of that environment and mission.

Of the five Viterbo values, which resonates with you most and why? Integrity. I believe that if we are true to ourselves and others, then we will have greater respect for one another and lead and serve with sincerity.

Hobbies: Anything outside, really. I spend a fair amount of time biking, hiking, and in the garden.

Anything about your family you would like to share: Though new to Viterbo, my husband Rob and I are not new to the community. Rob has been with AVS Group for 25 years. We have two children: Elyse (10) and Erik (7) that keep us very busy with swim practice and baseball games.
