Guest Speaker

The Viterbo Student Dietetics Association hosted dietetics alumna Sue Zbornick ’82, a practicing accredited nutritionist working and living in Sydney, Australia, Feb. 16. She spoke about her experience treating eating disorders and obesity and her her book, Find Your Happetite.

The Winner

The Help Desk and IIT was crowned the winner of the Homecoming office decorating contest. Congratulations to Derek Fuchsberger, student worker, and Chad Gilbeck, IIT. Finishing in second place was the education department and in third place was human resources/payroll. Eleven offices entered the contest.

Wellness Lunch and Learn Friday

The Viterbo community is invited to attend the Lunch and Learn “Why Wellness Works” with chiropractor Ben Erlandson from 12:10–1:10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27 in the Reinhart Center Board Room.

Are You Immune to Measles?

From Jan. 1-Feb. 6, 121 people from 17 states and Washington, D.C., were reported to have measles. Wisconsin now has two suspected cases. Eighty-five percent of these cases are part of a large, ongoing multi-state outbreak that started in an amusement park in California.

Fun and Delicious

The annual Honors Program Chili Cook-off was a huge success, with over 100 people attending, $224.17 raised, and 33 pounds of food collected. Congratulations to Emilio Alvarez and campus ministry, who had this year’s champion entry (number 12) out of a field of 15 competitors.

The annual Health Science Scholarship event Feb. 13 featured 24 outstanding high school students competing for almost $200,000 in Viterbo scholarship money. Congratulations to the top five finishers, who are pictured with President Rick Artman.
