October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Domestic violence on college campuses is more prevalent than you might think. One in five college students experience sexual assault during their college years.
The 2015 Nursing Career Fair will be held Thursday, Nov. 5 from 12:30–3:30 p.m. in the School of Nursing Building room 195 and Lobby. Nurse recruiters from over 25 regional health care facilities will be on campus to share information about available internship and employment opportunities.
Alfredo López will present “Afro-Indigenous Hondurans in Resistance: U.S. Drug War, Violent Displacement, and Migration” at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19 in San Damiano Chapel.
Pianists Mark Tollefsen, music, and Jae Won Kim, a faculty member at Kentucky State University, will perform a recital entitled “American Two-Piano Music” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13 in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.
