Though the library serves as a research center on campus, it can also be a place to relax and unwind. Viterbo employees can be seen perusing magazines, paging through the La Crosse Tribune, settling into one of the comfy chairs, and browsing the recreational reading section.
The administrative assembly is seeking food and monetary donations for the fourth annual Food for Finals.
The art club’s Empty Bowls Chili Fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11 in the Fine Arts Center Hospitality Suite.
The event will feature 150 handmade bowls and five kinds of homemade chili. Cost is $10 and includes the bowl, chili refills, and beverages. Half of the proceeds will benefit The Hunger Task Force.

Friends, colleagues, and students are invited to attend a retirement reception in honor of Lesley Stugelmayer, counseling services, from 3–4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10 in the Reinhart Center Board Room.
Stugelmayer is retiring after 40 years of service at Viterbo. Her last day will be Wednesday, Jan. 6.

VITERBO UNIVERSITY WINTER COMMENCEMENT DEC. 19
LA CROSSE, Wis. – Eighty-three undergraduate students, 30 graduate degree students, and one associate degree student will be candidates for graduation at Viterbo University’s winter commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
Volunteers are needed for the annual President’s Holiday Dinner Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 4:15–6:30 p.m. in Marian Hall Dining Room.
