Though the library serves as a research center on campus, it can also be a place to relax and unwind. Viterbo employees can be seen perusing magazines, paging through the La Crosse Tribune, settling into one of the comfy chairs, and browsing the recreational reading section.
The library’s recreational reading section has a mixture of both fiction and nonfiction books as well as a small audiovisual collection. New titles are added to the audiovisual and print collection every year. Judy Ulland, Academic Resource Center, was recently asked about her use of the recreational reading collection and she said, “It is located in a convenient, inviting place and has a wide variety of books. I am in a book club, and it is helpful to borrow books at Viterbo instead of purchasing the books each month.”
The library is open seven days a week and welcomes your visit.
