VITERBO UNIVERSITY TO PRESENT THE FAMOUS SATIRICAL OPERA ORPHEUS IN THE UNDERWORLD MARCH 4–5

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Viterbo University music and music theatre students will perform Jacques Offenbach’s classic satirical opera Orpheus in the Underworld at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 4 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 5 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

What would Aldo Leopold think about Wisconsin conservation today? That is the question to be addressed by George Meyer, executive director of the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation, in his presentation, “Game Management: Leopold’s Legacy and Wisconsin Culture” at 7 p.m.

Dorothy Day: The World will be Saved by Beauty Author and Granddaughter Kate Hennessy to Speak March 1-2

Kate Hennessy, granddaughter of famed Catholic activist Dorothy Day and author of the book Dorothy Day: The World will be Saved by Beauty, will speak at Viterbo at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 in San Damiano Chapel and at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, March 2 in Brophy Center 123.

Both events are free and open to the public.
