Sandy (Contreras) Burns remembered feeling over the moon excited when Viterbo launched its first official women’s basketball team and she was going to be a member. “I was in seventh heaven,” she said.
The Viterbo community extends heartfelt condolences to the friends and family of Viterbo alumna Linda Balgord Fenton ’82, who passed away at age 64. Balgord earned her BA in Theatre at Viterbo.
College is a new chapter in a person’s life. New experiences, routines, a whole new world of information and knowledge, and sometimes, new relationships.
Viterbo University biology, biochemistry, and neuroscience students are flush with opportunities to work with professors on research projects in a wide range of topics, from studying new microbial treatments for cancer to organic synthesis (creating new compounds made up of combinations of hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and, last but not least, carbon atoms).
