5–8 p.m. Vic’s Picnic - Enjoy food, outdoor games, sidewalk chalk, live music, and pay a visit to the Family Days table. Assisi Courtyard

9 p.m. Live, virtual Nerdology Trivia Game Show. Use the Viterbo App to join in via Zoom. Test your knowledge and a chance to win some great prizes, including Amazon gift cards. (from your room/apartment)

Message from Fr. Conrad Targonski: Today is the feast of Saint Rose of Viterbo, patroness of the FSPA and Viterbo university. There will be a Mass today at noon in San Damiano Chapel and new students will be able to view a short program on the life and legacy of St Rose produced by Campus Ministry. Also check YouTube for the celebration in Viterbo, Italy. Too all: a blessed and happy day.

Sunday, Sept. 6

There will be no Mass Saturday, Sept. 5, at San Damiano Chapel. On Sunday, Sept. 6 the Chapel will hold Mass at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Based on La Crosse Diocesan guidelines, capacity is limited to 25 percent. 8 p.m. Ghosts of Historic Downtown La Crosse walking tour. Meet at the Student Union at 7:30p and walk down to Cameron park together.

 

Monday, Sept. 7

10 a.m.–Noon Score-O – test your navigating skills using a map and clue sheet to find notable features and various locations on campus. This is timed event, but not a mass start. Show up anytime from 10 a.m.-noon. Participate solo or as a team of 2–3. Prizes awarded for the top two finishers (individual and team), once all scores have been tallied. Start/Finish at Assisi Courtyard.

Suicide Prevention Week is Sept. 6-12. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for people aged 15 to 24. Check out awareness events and information around campus over the upcoming week. Group Fitness DEMO Week. Classes offered today include, 7:05 a.m. – Yoga. Classes are free for employees and members during DEMO week, and are always free for students. A reservation is required to attend class.

Student Government Association (SGA) is providing free Viterbo masks to all students.  Stop by the SGA table outside Murphy Center and the Varsity Athletic Center between Noon–2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4 to pick up your mask, learn more about all that SGA does, and get involved in student governance on campus.
