This five-day summer social justice and theology institute offers education, experience, and reflection on Catholic Social Teaching themes and principles using a Franciscan lens. Participants learn from the religious studies and theology faculty and serve the community with current Viterbo students. Franciscan CORE seeks to develop empathetic and grounded leaders for the world and the Church through: Compassion for those on the margins, Outreach to those in need, Reflection on God’s call, and Experience of community and service. The online registration link is available online at www.viterbo.edu/franciscan-core. For more information, or to register, contact Emily Dykman, religious studies and theology (eadykman@viterbo.edu).
