The Student Sustainability Club is promoting 2021 Wisconsin Water Week “Navigating in Turbulent Times” by inviting everyone to attend some of the virtual presentations from the Driftless Region (south western Wisconsin). Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students will present their DNP project proposal or final defenses Wednesday, March 10 and the Viterbo community is invited to attend. Click for more information.

Intramural registration will open for 3-on-3 basketball and 4-on-4 volleyball on today, March 8 at 8 a.m. The leagues will run from March 22 until April 30 with basketball on Mondays and Volleyball on Wednesdays. Leagues are limited to Viterbo students. Roster size restrictions and other COVID-19 policies have been implemented. For more information and to register, visit IMLeagues. Registration will close Thursday, March 18 at 8 p.m.

Beginning today, March 8, the Mathy Center will have expanded week day hours. The facility will remain open until 10 p.m. Monday – Thursday. The rest of the hours will remain the same and may be found here.

There will be a Breaking Barriers Diversity Club meeting Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m. in the School of Nursing Building 195. Women's History Month and other related topics will be discussed. All are welcome.

The Identities Project is hosting a panel conversation exploring the difference between facts, fake news, and click-bait on Tuesday, March 9 at 6 p.m. Register for the virtual event HERE

Attention student veterans, military, and military family members: Join the Military Aligned Student Support (MAS) office for a Donut and coffee social Tuesday, March 9 from 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. (stop by as your schedule allows between these times) in the Fine Arts Center FSPA Lobby. MAS staff will also address any questions or concerns you have and take ideas for future social gatherings.

 

Notices:

Beginning Monday, March 15, all campus academic buildings will be Viterbo ID access only beginning at 6:30 p.m. Monday–Friday. Students will have card access from 6:30–11 p.m. On weekends, the academic buildings will be closed with card access only from 7 a.m.–11 p.m. The library is already only accessible with a Viterbo ID. If you need an ID, email Dawn Popp in the physical plant office at dmpopp@viterbo.edu. IDs can be created by emailing a photo.

A VUSM 300 class is exploring homelessness as part of their coursework. The students invite you to learn more about homelessness locally and, if interested, sign the petition to end homelessness in La Crosse by 2025.
