Spring Graduate Countdown to Commencement is Tuesday, March 30 from 2:30–5:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center FSPA Lobby. Pick up grad kits which includes cap and gown, honor medallions, celebratory items and important information about commencement weekend celebrations. Graduates can take a complimentary grad photo at this event to upload into a graduate slideshow. Schedule a time to attend the event to allow for social distancing. The Viterbo Art Department is hosting a series of art workshops for the Viterbo community. Workshops are open to all Viterbo students, faculty, and staff. No art experience is necessary for any of the workshops. Space is limited and registration is required. Register by sending your name and preferred workshop to sjlisota@viterbo.edu. Workshops for the Week of April 4-10: Clay Jewelry Making*: Create personalized clay pendants and beads using a variety of techniques. Take home pieces that you can wear. Led by Katie Weise, Viterbo faculty. *Note: This is a two-part workshop that will take place on consecutive Thursday evenings (April 8 and April 15) from 6–8 p.m. in FAC 301. Space is limited to 10. Open Clay Studio: Try your hand in creating functional or sculptural forms in clay, on the potter's wheel or by hand-building them. No experiences necessary. Friday, April 9 from 2–4 p.m. in FAC 301. Space is limited to 10. Beginning Botanical Illustration: Learn traditional approaches to botanical illustration, working from live specimens using graphite and watercolor. No experience necessary. Led by Sherri Lisota, Viterbo faculty. Friday, April 9 from 2–4 p.m., FAC 317. Space is limited to 15.

Any Viterbo employee interested in presenting a family diploma cover must notify the commencement committee by Thursday April 1. Academic regalia is required and may be rented from the bookstore. The Recreation Department is sponsoring a limited number of individuals and 3v3 teams to represent Viterbo in a national Rocket League tournament to compete against students from across the country at either the competitive or recreational level. Space is limited to Viterbo students and will be first come, first served. Email intramurals@viterbo.edu for more information and to register. The tournament will run from April 8–10 and registration closes on Wednesday, March 31 at 8 p.m.
