The annual fire alarm monitoring system inspections and sprinkler systems testing will be performed Monday, July 11–Friday, July 22. There will be brief, periodic alarms while the inspections are taking place. Notification will be sent in the event of an actual emergency.

Updates from the library for faculty: The former reference phone number, 608-796-3270, has been disconnected and is no longer in use by the library. If this number is on any of your handouts, syllabi, or Moodle pages, please remove it. The library’s main desk can be reached at 608-796-3269. The library is also having an ongoing problem with links to the videos in their Academic Video Online (AVON) database not working from the library’s catalog. You will receive an EZproxy error message. If you would like to have your students view an AVON video, have them access it directly from the database. From the library’s web page, choose Research, then Databases, then scroll down to Academic Video Online. Search for the title of the video you want. From its title screen you can click on the Share button and then copy the permalink to give to your students. This link will work both on- and off-campus.
