The next Contemplation Workshop will take place Feb. 15 noon–1 p.m. in the Franciscan Spirituality Center. Join Sr. Sarah Hennessey and the FSC staff for a discussion and practice of various mindfulness exercises. The workshop is free for all employees but does require advanced registration.

A employee photo shoot will be held Thursday, Feb. 17 from 2–2:30 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 21 11–11:30 a.m. both in Brophy Center 125. Anyone needing their photo taken or updated should attend one of the events.
Health services will offer COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters on Tuesdays and Fridays. Walk ins are welcome in the mornings. Students can also schedule in advance via Starfish.
Viterbo faculty, administration, and staff are invited to present and/or attend the Celebration of Teaching and Learning on Friday, Feb. 18, from 3:30–5 p.m. in the FSPA Lobby of the Fine Arts Center. The February AAUW meeting will be held Saturday, Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. via Zoom. John Schneider, who has exhibited both painting and pottery at past AAUW Art Fairs will be the featured guest speaker. Viterbo dietetic interns Austin Croze Lila Finney are conducting a research study on how are iron levels affected by nutritional counseling and handouts among college students. Viterbo community members 18–30 years of age are invited to participate. People who are smokers, pregnant, breastfeeding, post menopausal and/or have taken iron supplements regularly in the past month are excluded in this study. Are you in higher education (college, university, graduate school or pre professional programming) and would like to be part of research to help others like you? A graduate student is conducting research to examine the risk of eating disorder related behaviors and thoughts in college age students, specifically the incidence in which it occurs in students involved in a health-related area of study versus those in a non-health related area of study. Gain experience with this short-term, on-campus employment offering fun and flexibility. You do not have to be eligible for work study to participate. Wages begin at $9/hr.
