The Viterbo community is invited to a Farewell Reception for Todd Ericson on Monday, Dec. 20 from 3–5 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center FSPA Lobby. Come to recognize Todd and thank him for his 28 years of dedicated service to the institution.
Students are invited to the annual President’s Holiday Dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 8 from 4:15–6:30 p.m. Students should start at the Marian Courtyard entrance to the Student Union. Enjoy a special three-course holiday meal served by Viterbo faculty and staff volunteers. All students (no meal plan needed) are welcome to attend this free event.
Food for Finals will be available for students during the week of exams, Dec. 13–17. Viterbo employees are invited to donate individually bagged treats, pre-packaged snacks, and non-refrigerated items. Monetary donations can be sent in a sealed envelope via intra-campus mail to Mary Mormann (MRC 510). Food donations can be dropped off at the Copy Center, the Library, and outside MRC 332 (ARC). Monetary donations are accepted at any time. Freshly baked items may be dropped off in Murphy Academic Resource Center Rm 332 at any time up until 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13.
Wednesday, Dec. 8 is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. Masses will be held that day at noon and 5:15 p.m. in San Damiano Chapel.
Employee reminder: Thursday, Dec. 9 is the employee assembly potluck. Sign up for a dish to pass here and join colleagues from 11:30–1 p.m. in NRC 195.
The STEM department is looking for individuals to volunteer at Fort McCoy on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 15, and 22. A carpool will be leaving Viterbo around 8:10 a.m. and returning at 1 p.m. Volunteers will be helping children put together volcano experiments and doing small dino digs from a science kit. Viterbo Rings is on Saturday, Dec. 11. Visit www.viterbo.edu/viterborings for more information about the day and for links to UGetConnected to select preferred bell-ringing shifts, most between 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Shifts are two hours and vary by location. This is a great way to give back to the community, especially as a study break before finals.
