Social Justice and Equity Fact of the Day: In the Spring of 2019 Viterbo administered a Campus Climate assessment. Thirty-three percent of employees and eight percent of students participated. Check out more of the data and findings HERE
Reminder from the Financial Aid Office: The 2021-22 FAFSA and 2021-22 Additional Information Form are available. These are required for returning Undergraduate and Graduate students to receive Federal Aid for Fall 2021 and/or Spring 2022. The priority deadline date is February 1, 2021.
Virtual Santa visits took place last weekend with children of alumni and the Viterbo community. You are welcome to view the visits as children shared their wishes and enjoyed Santa’s jolly spirit.
Camp mentors needed: Franciscan CORE, a five-day summer program for rising 10–12th grade students, is looking to hire current Viterbo students to serve as mentors for their camp on June 13–18, 2021 on Viterbo’s campus. Franciscan CORE stands for Compassion, Outreach, Reflection, and Experience. This summer camp focuses on Catholic Social Teaching themes and uses St. Francis of Assisi as a model for faithful action. Student mentors will be offered room, board, training, and a stipend. Qualified candidates have an enthusiasm for working with high schoolers and an interest in serving for social justice. Employee assembly is sponsoring Food for Finals for students. Finals are Dec 14–18. Three locations will be available during finals week for students to grab a snack as they study for their exams. Viterbo employees are invited to donate individually bagged treats, pre-packaged snacks, and non-refrigerated items. Monetary donations can be sent in a sealed envelope via intra-campus mail to Mary Mormann (Murphy Center 510). Food donations can be dropped off at the Copy Center, the Library and outside Murphy Center 332 (ARC). Monetary donations will be accepted Monday, Dec 7–Friday, Dec 11. Freshly baked items may be dropped off in Murphy Academic Resource Center Rm 332 on any time up until 10 a.m. Monday, Dec 14.
