SINGER SONGWRITER GAVIN DEGRAW AND SPECIAL GUEST CALEB HEARN TO PERFORM AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY SEPT. 14

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Gavin DeGraw, a Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum selling artist with a distinctive voice and soulful style, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

DeGraw’s 2003 platinum-certified full-length debut Chariot included the gold single Follow Through, as well as platinum hits Chariot and I Don’t Want to Be. In 2008, his self-titled second album, Gavin DeGraw, soared to the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 thanks in part to the platinum-selling single In Love with a Girl. His gold-certified Sweeter also made the Top 10 as the single Not Over You went four times platinum. Meanwhile, his duet with Colbie Caillat, We Both Know, garnered a Grammy® Award nomination in the category of Best Song Written for Visual Media for Safe Haven. With a front row seat to his wonderfully wild life led by his late parents Lynne and John Wayne, DeGraw recounts his most meaningful memories and valuable lessons on his most recent seventh full-length offering, Face The River. In 2023, he released a Christmas EP, A Classic Christmas.

Opening the show will be special guest Caleb Hearn, whose reflections have resulted in revelatory anthems laced with folk eloquence and amplified with pop appeal. After generating more than 235 million streams and attracting a global fanbase with more than 1.4 million TikTok followers, the North Carolina-raised and Nashville-based singer-songwriter uses his recollections to grow and evolve on his Birthdays & Funerals EP. Following the 2020 Reflections EP, the fan favorites, Always Be 2.0; Brown Eyes, Brown Hair; and It’s Always Been You, have tailed 101 million+ Spotify streams combined. He unveiled his We’re Getting Older EP in 2022. In the spring of 2023, Hearn returned with his 4-track follow-EP 1200 sq ft.
