Registration is open for Viterbo University’s annual Conference on Servant Leadership, which will be held June 27-28 at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts in downtown La Crosse.
The event, emceed by Viterbo Distinguished Professor of Servant Leadership Tom Thibodeau, is intended for people who aspire to be servant leaders in nonprofit organizations, businesses large and small, government, health care, ministry, education and more. The theme of this year’s conference is “Proven – Trusted – Effective.”
Rick Kyte, Viterbo endowed professor of ethics and director of the D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership, will present on “third places,” the topic of his soon-to-be-published book, on Wednesday evening at the pre-conference celebration.
Other conference speakers will include the following:
- Jerry Jendusa, a serial entrepreneur and regular on “Project Pitch It” (Wisconsin’s answer to “Shark Tank”).
- Shelly Mayer, executive director of the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin
- Mo Yang, executive director of the Hmong Cultural and Community Agency in La Crosse
- Walé Elegbede, director of strategy management services at Mayo Clinic Health System in Rochester
- Bridget Berkland, manager of employee well-being at Mayo Clinic Health System in Rochester
